Your choice of a photographer should take into account how you want to spend your wedding day. How much posing do you want to do, and how much do you prefer to simply celebrate with your loved ones and have it recorded sensitively and beautifully. Essentially, would you rather the photographs bring back memories of a joyful day or an extended photo shoot? Ask photographers how they see the flow of the day, how they define their role in directing it, what relative importance they give to your wishes as opposed to their ideas, and what they look for as they watch you and your guests interacting.

After you have chosen your photographer, keep in contact with them periodically until the wedding day. By doing so, your photographer will get to know you a little better and be able to photograph more of what you envision of your wedding day photographs.

"Let your emotions show on your wedding day. Don't hold back any affections if you are hoping for those romantic photos you've seen in magazines. The photographer will have better photo opportunities and much more to work with! Nuzzle each other's neck, touch noses, touch each other on the arm or waist, look into each other's eyes, and take some private moments to "get away" and sneak in a kiss or gaze into each other's eyes. A good photographer will follow you a few of those times at least and get priceless shots.

"Your wedding day is YOUR day to shine. So shine, be relaxed and enjoy every second. Interact with your photographer, remember this is how your day is captured. Show your emotions, and play out your wedding day and you always wanted it!

When exchanging rings and sharing that first kiss, don't be afraid to turn towards each other, or even towards your guests. when its time to put on the ring, the kiss, take your time, don't rush through, enjoy the moments. This will also give plenty of opportunity for great unposed photos
